Application Requirements:

All applicants are required to submit an Application Form which is available for download from the website.  Local applicants should submit the applications at least one Month before the year of entry and no earlier than 2 weeks.  Overseas applicants are encouraged to submit the applications before February of the year of entry if possible.  Late applications may be considered subject to space availability.  A sibling should submit application before the deadline of pre-registration of current students for the next school year.The Application Form has to be completed and signed by one of the parents.  When a guardian is the person responsible to apply for the student, then an authorization letter indicating legal guardianship must be submitted with the application.The following documents are required to be submitted with application:

  1. Photocopy of applicant’s

  2. Photocopy of passport and valid visas* for non-resident

  3. Copies of school reports

  4. Kindergarten – progress reports, in English, from past 2 years

  5. Elementary – report cards, in English, from the past 2 years  

Admission Criteria:

In selecting supplicant for admission, the Admissions Team reviews whether an applicant will meet the following criteria

Age Requirement:
  1. Reception 1: 2 years old before September 1 of year of entry

  2. Reception 2: 4 years old before September 1 of year of entry

  3. Pre-Grade 2: 5 years old before September 1 of year of entry

  4. Grades 1 to 12: date of birth after September 1 of year of entry will be reviewed on a case by case basis

Academic achievement and language proficiency:

Through admissions screening by the Admissions Team, an applicant will be measured to see if they meet the standard in the following areas:

  1. Academic achievement at grade level

  2. Language proficiency (if English is not the first language

  3. Problem solving skills

HECIS  International School:  is a Christian school that teaches students from pre-school through grade 1 to 12. The school is a fully accredited member of the Association of Christian Schools International (HECSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The curriculum British and American standards, and most of the teachers come from that continent. The school is known for solid academics, but can be difficult adjustment for non-Christians  — bible studies are mandatory. Annual tuition at HECIS is $3,200 to $6,500 based on grade, and there’s a $200 annual capital fee per family. Discounts are offered for large families and the children of missionaries. 

The test result will be valid for one year.  No applicant will be offered a retest within a period of 2 months from the date of first testing.
